Instant occupation - move into your storage unit by paying the equivalent of 8 weeks in advance, providing identification and signing a simple one page self storage licence agreement. You can move out any time and you only pay for the days you have used our storage facility (subject to a minimum storage charge period of just two weeks). No notice required and unused days are fully refunded.
Free and easy access to your own private self storage unit
You can access your self storage room as often as you wish (putting items in or taking them out) totally free of charge. Our Walsall storage facility opening hours are Monday – Friday 8am – 7pm, Saturday 8am – 5pm and Sunday 12pm – 4pm. 24 hour 7 day access is available on some of our domestic self storage units, please ask for details.

A Brief history of Aldridge.
Located within the Metropolitan Borough of Walsall, Aldridge is a small town North of the city of Birmingham. Now home to over 16000 people, Aldridge was first recorded as a settlement in the Domesday book.
It is thought that up until the 19th century, Aldridge was an agricultural settlement with the main occupation of its residents being farming. This however, soon changed, when the coal and clay in the area, prompted a shift from agriculture to industry, with collieries and brickworks soon being set up. The 1881 census shows that the mines became top employers in the area at that time and we now understand that Aldridge Clay became significant in the creation of blue brick. More recently in the 20th century, the area has undergone yet more change, with services and shops coming to the area and a shift toward modern housing. Although one sand quarry remains on Birch Lane, the area is now known as a dormitory town, housing commuters from the nearby cities.
The town has a number of schools both secondary- St Francis of Assisi and Aldridge School and primary- Cooper and Jordan and St Mary of the Angels, attracting families from a broad catchment area. School’s in the area are likely to expand in size due to the ever demanding population increase in the cities of Birmingham and Walsall.
Aldridge is also the home of a number of recognisable faces. These include, brothers Richard Sinnott- actor best known for his role in Coronation Street and Lee Sinnott an ex-professional footballer managing Farsley Celtic, Eleanor Simmonds MBE, representing team GB in the paralympics swimming and Vic Milne- an ex Aston Villa player.
Despite its humble beginnings as an agricultural town, Aldridge has grown and continues to do so, providing more services to its residents, good quality education to its youngsters and good quality housing to the people of the area.
