Instant occupation - move into your storage unit by paying the equivalent of 8 weeks in advance, providing identification and signing a simple one page self storage licence agreement. You can move out any time and you only pay for the days you have used our storage facility (subject to a minimum storage charge period of just two weeks). No notice required and unused days are fully refunded.

Free and easy access to your own private self storage unit

You can access your self storage room as often as you wish (putting items in or taking them out) totally free of charge. Our Walsall storage facility opening hours are Monday – Friday 8am – 7pm, Saturday 8am – 5pm and Sunday 12pm – 4pm. 24 hour 7 day access is available on some of our domestic self storage units, please ask for details.

More than a reservoir, cricket ground and medical school?

Edgbaston is a suburban area located in Central Birmingham, England. It forms part of a semi-circular area around the southwest of the City Centre. Neighbouring areas include Moseley to the south east and Smethwick and Winson Green to the North West.

In the 19th century, the area was under the control of the Gough-Calthorpe family who were responsible for reducing the number of factories born in the area which helped to make the area attractive for the middle classes. In more recent times, it is probably most famous for being the home of the University of Birmingham, established as Birmingham Medical School in 1825.

Edgbaston, nationally, has a reputation for being one of the most upmarket and affluent parts of Birmingham or as where the majority of the green space is kept. The parliamentary constituency includes the smaller Edgbaston ward and the wards of Bartley Green, Harborne and Quinton- which could be surprising due to the geography of these areas.

The area is also unique as it acts as a local government district, managed by its own district committee.

Despite having a population of only 1000 in the early 1800s the area has grown rapidly, thanks in large part to the movement of wealthy factory owners to the area in the late 19th century. The area now has a population of 20000 and is home to over 8000 households.

Landmarks in the area, as well as the University clock tower which has influenced popular films such as Lord of The Rings, include Edgbaston Cricket Ground and Botanical gardens, which provide endless entertainment for the population and visitors alike.

Similarly, Edgbaston reservoir, which supplies many of Birmingham’s canals, provides water sports activities and a break from the hussle and bussle of Birmingham city centre.
