Self Storage Room rental is normally sold by square feet. This should not be used for price comparison purposes. Square feet is only a measurement of the storage rooms floor area and does not take into account the rooms height.

Most self storage facilities only build their rooms to a height of 8 feet, some as low as 6 or 7 feet! We at Admiral build our storage rooms with a height of 10 feet. This potentially giving an extra 25-30% of usable space free of charge.

For example, a 50 square foot room built to a height of 7 feet provides 350 cubic feet of space. An Admiral 50 square foot room provides 500 cubic feet of usable space, a massive 30% of extra space free of charge!
