You can move out any time and you only pay for the days you have used our storage facility (subject to a minimum storage charge period of just two weeks). No notice required and unused days are fully refunded.

You can access your self storage room as often as you wish (putting items in or taking them out) totally free of charge. Our Walsall storage facility opening hours are Monday – Friday 8am – 7pm, Saturday 8am – 5pm and Sunday 12pm – 4pm. 24 hour 7 day access is available on some of our domestic self storage units, please ask for details.

Notes of historical local area interest
West Bromwich is located in the West Midlands, more specifically Sandwell; a part of the Black Country. The population of West Bromwich is around 75,400 as of 2011. During the 19th century, a number of coal deposits were discovered in the area. This ensured that the town expanded rapidly, becoming an industrial centre. Various industries such as gun, nail making and springs developed within West Bromwich leading to the town establishing itself as a prominent area.
The history of West Bromich is an interesting one. During the Cholera epidemic of 1831 the town suffered heavily. The towns’ drainage was inadequate and lead to the disease spreading quickly, resulting in a number of deaths. By the time World War One had begun in 1914, some of the sanitation had become that bad that houses in West Bromwich were deemed unfit for human habitation. After the war had ended, the council had to build many new homes to move people out of the town centre which was rundown. Many of these buildings however can still be seen today.
During World War Two West Bromwich was subjected to air raids similar to that of Birmingham. 58 civilians were killed during the raids, most of these during the raid of 19th November 1940 around Oak Road and Lombard Street. Other than this date more raids led to thousands of casualties within the town – all of the damage had to be rebuilt after the war, the first of which was Harvills Hawthorn Estate near Hill Top.
More recently West Bromwich has become ‘shopper friendly’ through the development of Queen’s Square shopping centre, which opened in 1971 costing £3 million to build. Since then a further effort has been made to reinvigorate the shopping centre when Sandwell Council injected £5 million into its refurbishment.
