You can move out any time and you only pay for the days you have used our storage facility (subject to a minimum storage charge period of just two weeks). No notice required and unused days are fully refunded.
Free and easy access to your own private self storage unit
You can access your self storage room as often as you wish (putting items in or taking them out) totally free of charge. Our Walsall storage facility opening hours are Monday – Friday 8am – 7pm, Saturday 8am – 5pm and Sunday 12pm – 4pm. 24 hour 7 day access is available on some of our domestic self storage units, please ask for details.

Willenhall is situated in the metropolitan borough of Walsall, it is a medium-sized town in the West Midlands. Willenhall is a part of the Black Country and located on the River Tame. Willenhall was previously separated in 1966 between Walsall and Wolverhampton. Over the last 100 years, the town has expanded considerably, so much so that the Northern border had to be moved by around two miles. This is largely a direct result of housing developments.
Historically the town is most famous for its manufacture of locks and keys. Dating all the way back to 1770, Willenhall is recorded to have had 148 locksmiths and towns individual coat of arms reflects how important this industry was to its growth. The town of Willenhall also has its own motto – the welfare of the people is the highest law, translated into latin: Salus Populi Suprema Lex.
The History of Willenhall itself is a rich and intriguing one. Dating far back to the Saxon era, the original name of the town was Willanhale. Later in the 10th century Willenhall was recorded to have contained just 30 households and an approximate population of 120. In 1840 Willenhall had built its own parish church – St. Giles. The church which currently stands in Willenhall is the third to have been built.
Throughout the Middle Ages and through Tudor times Willenhall was exploited for its natural mineral wealth. The ore was turned to iron and then used to create small metal goods. Firstly nails were common and later a number of different metal goods were produced such as coffin handles. It was only in the 18th century when the industry of Willenhall resulted in a population growth.
Willenhall was also devastated in the 17th century, near to the time of the Great Fire of London. Because of the materials used to build the houses, most of them were burnt and destroyed, resulting in the rebuilding of the town in brick.
