You can move out any time and you only pay for the days you have used our storage facility (subject to a minimum storage charge period of just two weeks). No notice required and unused days are fully refunded.

You can access your self storage room as often as you wish (putting items in or taking them out) totally free of charge. Our Walsall storage facility opening hours are Monday – Friday 8am – 7pm, Saturday 8am – 5pm and Sunday 12pm – 4pm. 24 hour 7 day access is available on some of our domestic self storage units, please ask for details.

A Short History of Wylde Green

Wylde Green is a residential area within the town of Sutton Coldfield, located 5.7 miles (9.17 km²) from Birmingham City Centre.

In the 16th century this was common barren land, known as ‘Wyld’. Development started to take place in the area roundabout 1840, when population growth led to the first school being built, and later substantial Victorian mansions started to be constructed from 1852 onwards. This work was carried out in anticipation of the forthcoming railway which opened in 1862.

From this point on, urbanization began to grow rapidly and continued doing so until 1923 when the parish of Wylde Green was fully created and became a district on its own.

The area contained a Nuclear Bunker which was built in the 1950's to provide Birmingham with a focal point in case there was ever a threat of nuclear attack.

Wylde Green boasts the New Hall Valley Country Park and also Plantsbrook Nature Reserve which was designed by William Bidlake.

Emmanuel Parish Church, built 1909-16 by W H Bidlake, is a grade II listed building and is one of the oldest buildings in Wylde Green.

The area became a part of Sutton Coldfield which in turn is a Metropolitan Borough within the Birmingham district.

Wylde Green has been noted in history as having a reputation for been an ideal spot for highwaymen piracy and this goes back in history to Edward I time.

Once incident recorded by Sir William Dugdale reported that £300 had been robbed from Elias-el-Collier, and more incidents have been reported since, which has created a mystery concerning this area.
